Delicious, fun and crunchy salad the wholefamily will love.

Recipe: Crunchy Tossed Salad

1/2 cup vegetable oil1/4 cup granulated sugar2 tablespoons vinegar1 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper1 large head iceberg lettuce, torn intobite-size pieces6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted1/3 cup sesame seeds, toasted4 green onions, sliced3/4 cup chow mein noodles

  • Whisk together the first 5 ingredients.Chill for 1 hour.
  • Just before serving, combine the lettuce,bacon, almonds, sesame seeds and onions in a large bowl; adddressing and toss. Top with chow mein noodles.

    Makes 12 servings.
