Crescent Date Honey Buns recipe

Sticky-sweet and quick and easy! Refrigeratedcrescent dinner rolls are filled with dates and baked in a honey-nutmixture.

Recipe: Crescent Date HoneyBuns

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespoons honey
1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
12 pitted dates, cut in halves

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  • Combine the butter, pecans, brown sugar,and honey in an 8 or 9-inch baking pan. Heat in the oven untilthe butter melts; stir and set aside.
  • Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles.Place 3 date halves inside each triangle and roll up. Place ontop of the butter mixture.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes; let cool for3 minutes and then invert the pan onto a serving plate. Servewarm.
