Creme de Menthe Balls recipe

These minty treats are a cross betweena cookie and a candy. They make a delicate end to a heavy mealor fit beautifully on a tea table of sweets.

Recipe: Creme de Menthe Balls

1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 tablespoons white corn syrup
1/3 cup white creme de mentheAdditional sifted powdered sugar for rolling

  • Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
  • Form into 1-inch balls; roll in additionalpowdered sugar and place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet.Cover with waxed paper and chill overnight. Store in tightlycovered container at room temperature.

    Makes 4 dozen.
