Creamy Strawberry Mold recipe

This festive creamy strawberry gelatinmold, studded with miniature marshmallows, can be served eitheras a holiday side dish or dessert.

Recipe: Creamy StrawberryMold

2 cups boiling water
1 (6-ounce) package strawberry gelatin
1 cup cold water
2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
2 cups miniature marshmallows – divided use

  • In a medium bowl, combine boiling waterand gelatin and stir until completely dissolved. Stir in coldwater. Let stand about 20 minutes to cool to room temperature.
  • Add ice cream and stir until completelymelted. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the marshmallows. (They will floatto the top.)
  • Spray 5-cup mold with cooking spray. Pourgelatin mixture into prepared mold.
  • Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmoldonto serving plate.
  • Garnish with remaining marshmallows. Storeleftover gelatin mold in refrigerator.

    Makes 10 servings.
