Spirited mugs of sweet Irish coffee toppedwith peaks of whipped cream.
Recipe: Creamy Irish Coffee
4 cups strong fresh coffee
Place 4 cups of strong fresh coffee ina saucepan with 1/4 cup of sugar, or to taste.
Add 1/2 cup Irish Whiskey and heat thoroughly,but do not boil. (Scotch, Bourbon or other whiskeys can be used.)
Meanwhile, beat 1 cup whipping cream untilsoft peaks form; Add the 2 tablespoons each of sugar and Irishwhiskey and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
To serve, pour coffee into mugs or gobletsand and top with the flavored whipped cream.

Makes 6 servings.
