Creamy Chilled Cheesecake recipe

Easy and creamy, no-bake cheesecake witha graham cracker crust.

Recipe: Creamy Chilled Cheesecake

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup granulated sugar – divided use
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 package unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1/4 cup strawberries, sliced

  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cupsugar, and melted butter; press onto the bottom of a 9-inch springformpan.
  • Soften unflavored gelatin in cold water,and stir over low heat until dissolved. Combine softened creamcheese and 1/2 cup sugar; mixing at medium speed with an electricmixer until well blended. Add to the gelatin mixture. Chill untilslightly thickened.
  • Whip cream until soft peaks form. Foldinto chilled cream cheese mixture. Pour over the crust and chilluntil firm. Top with sliced strawberries.

    Makes 12 servings.
