Cranberry Streusel Pie recipe

With its bright red, sweet-tart cranberryfilling, this is a colorful and delicious pie for the holidays.

Recipe: Cranberry StreuselPie

1 9-inch unbaked pie crust (seerecipe)1 pound fresh cranberries1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 1/4 cups granulated sugar1 cup all-purpose flour, divided1/2 cup brown sugar1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped1/2 cup butterSweetened whipped cream or vanilla icecream as accompaniment

  • Crush berries in large bowl; add vanillaand mix well. Stir in sugar and 1/4cup flour. Pour filling into unbaked pie crust.
  • Combine brown sugar, 3/4 cup flour, walnutsand butter with a pastry blender. Mixtureshould be crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over pie.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutesor until bubbly and golden brown.
  • Serve with a dollop of sweetened whippedcream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
