Cool & Easy Spider Cupcakes recipe

An easy ‘recipe’ for decorating ready-madechocolate cupcakes with a spider-theme for Halloween.

Recipe: Cool & Easy SpiderCupcakes

24 baked chocolate cupcakes, paper linersremoved
1 (8-ounce) tub nondairy whipped topping, thawed
1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
24 pieces (24-inch each) black shoestring licorice
48 small red hot candies

  • Frost tops and sides of cupcakes withwhipped topping.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.
  • Cut each piece of licorice into 8 pieces.Insert 8 pieces licorice into top of each cupcake to create “spiderlegs.” Top with 2 candies for “eyes.”
  • Store leftover cupcakes in refrigerator.

    Makes 24 servings.

    These cupcakes are so cute! Even though those eye balls are kind of spooky. That chocolate glaze with the loads of sprinkles looks very attractive though! I could eat it with a spoon! OMG, look at these adorable little things! Absolutely love. I d very quickly get over the fact that they re spiders and end up devouring a dozen! ??
