Coconut-Oat Honey Bars recipe

An easy oat granola-like bar sweetenedwith brown sugar and honey laced with coconut, raisins and whitechocolate chips.

Recipe: Coconut-Oat HoneyBars

1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1 1/3 cups sweetened flaked coconut
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup white chocolate chips

  • Heat oven to 400°F (205°C). Grease8-inch square baking pan.
  • In large saucepan, melt butter; removefrom heat. Stir in brown sugar, honey and vanilla.
  • Add remaining ingredients; stir untilblended. Press mixture into prepared pan.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until goldenbrown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

    Makes about 24 bars.
