Cocoa Fudge Frosting recipe

This creamy chocolate fudge frosting, madewith cocoa, is so good and easy you’ll never use store-boughtfrosting again.

Recipe: Cocoa Fudge Frosting

1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 2/3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • In small saucepan melt butter over lowheat; add cocoa, stirring constantly until smooth and slightlythickened. Remove from heat; pour into medium bowl, and cooluntil very thick, about 30 minutes.
  • Add powdered sugar, milk and vanilla tochocolate mixture and beat to spreading consistency. Frost cooledcake.

    Frosts and fills an 8 or 9-inch layer cakeor 1 (13 x 9-inch) cake.
