Cocoa Buttercream Frosting.

This creamy chocolate frosting, made withcocoa, is so easy AND delicious you’ll never buy a can of chocolatefrosting again…ever!

Recipe: Cocoa ButtercreamFrosting

3 cups powdered sugar2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract5 to 6 tablespoons milk, as needed

  • In a large bowl, combine the powderedsugar and cocoa; add the softened butter, vanilla and 5 tablespoonsmilk and beat beat on low speed until ingredients are combined,then on high speed until well combined, adding more milk, ifneeded, for desired spreading consistency.
  • Use as desired.

    Frosts and fills an 8 or 9-inch layer cake,1 (13 x 9-inch) cake, or up to 36 cupcakes.
