Christmas Wreath Cookies recipe

Fun cookies the kids can help make andeveryone will love to eat!

Recipe: Christmas WreathCookies

1/2 cup butter4 cups miniature marshmallows (40 largemarshmallows)1 teaspoon liquid green food coloring1/2 teaspoon almond extract1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract4 cups corn flakesRed hot candies or miniature candy-coatedchocolates

  • In 2-quart saucepan melt butter and marshmallowsover medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Addand mix quickly the food coloring, almond and vanilla extracts,then corn flakes.
  • Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls on butteredwaxed paper or aluminum foil. Quickly with butteredfingers, shape into wreaths and decorate with 3 red hot candieseach at the top of the “wreath”.
  • Cool completely. Store in sealed containerin cool area.

    Makes 3 dozen.

    These cookies look like little Christmas Wreaths and are great fun for the kids to help with. Very Easy. People always look at these suspiciously, but once they try them, they can t get enough. Recipe may be halved.

    This is definitely one of the best corn flake cookies I ve ever tasted!! Easy to make and so very little ingredients!
