Chocolate Velvet Pie.

Melting chocolate is the only cooking you’lldo for this smooth and creamy chocolate pie.

Recipe: Chocolate VelvetPie

1 (8-inch) chocolate crumb crust
1 (11.5-ounce) package NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE® MilkChocolate Morsels
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
Sweetened whipped cream, optional
Chocolate curls, optional
Chopped nuts, optional

  • Microwave morsels in a medium, microwave-safebowl on MEDIUM-HIGH power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional10 to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Cool to roomtemperature.
  • Beat melted chocolate, cream cheese andvanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until light in color.Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into crust. Refrigerate until firm.Top with sweetened whip cream, chocolate curls and nuts.

    Makes 8 servings.

    Return to the pan and heat gently, stirring until thickened. Remove from the heat. Beat in the gelatin mixture until it has dissolved. Add the chocolate and stir until melted. Allow to cool slightly, then pour into the pie shell. Chill for several hours. Transfer to a plate and scatter on the chocolate shavings.
