Chocolate Satin Pie.

Heated evaporated milk and egg yolks makea rich mixture; add chocolate chips and stir. You end up witha luscious pie enriched with chopped nuts and whipped cream.What a treat it is! One bite and the smooth chocolate richnesswill have your loved ones asking for more.

Recipe: Chocolate Satin Pie

1 (8 or 9-inch) graham cracker crust
1 (12-ounce) can NESTL ® CARNATION® EvaporatedMilk
2 large egg yolks
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTL TOLL HOUSE Semi-SweetChocolate Morsels
Sweetened whipped cream for accompanimentChopped toasted nuts for garnish

  • Whisk together evaporated milk and eggyolks in medium saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat, stirringconstantly, until mixture is very hot and thickens slightly;do not boil. Remove from heat; stir in morsels until completelymelted and mixture is smooth.
  • Pour into crust; refrigerate 3 hours oruntil firm. Top with whipped cream before serving and sprinklewith nuts.

    Makes 10 servings.

    If I buy a premade chocolate crust from the store to use, do I still bake that first, before doing the filling? Are you sure 1 stick of butter?
