Chocolate Raspberry Chip Brownies recipe

Vanilla brownies laced with raspberry flavoredchips.

Recipe: Chocolate RaspberryChip Brownies

1 (10-ounce) package raspberry-flavoredchips*
1/4 cup butter
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
Powdered sugar (optional)

  • Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease8-inch square baking pan.
  • Combine raspberry chips and butter inmedium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly,until melted. Remove from heat.
  • Add eggs and vanilla; stir until wellblended. Add flour, sugar and baking powder; stir until wellblended. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until browniesbegin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in panon wire rack.
  • Cut into bars. Sift powdered sugar overtop, if desired.

    Makes about 20 brownies.

    *Other flavored chips can be substituted.
