Chocolate & Peanut Butter Truffles recipe

Creamy, buttery smooth truffles made withcocoa and peanut butter chips.

Recipe: Chocolate & PeanutButter Truffles

3/4 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter chips
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Unsweetened cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles or ground nuts

  • In large saucepan, melt butter and peanutbutter chips over very low heat, stirring often. Add cocoa; stiruntil smooth.
  • Stir in sweetened condensed milk; stirconstantly about 4 minutes or until mixture is thick and glossy.Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
  • Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm enoughto handle.
  • Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in cocoa,chocolate sprinkles or ground nuts. Refrigerate until firm, about1 hour. Store, covered, in refrigerator.

    Makes about 3 1/2 dozen candies.
