Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies recipe

Chewy chocolate cookies loaded with chocolatechips and chunks of peanut butter cup candies.

Recipe: Chocolate PeanutButter Cup Cookies

2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking soda1/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa1 cup butter, softened3/4 cup granulated sugar3/4 cup packed brown sugar1 teaspoon vanilla extract3/4 cup smooth peanut butter2 large eggs1 cup semisweet chocolate chips1 cup peanut butter chips10 regular-sized peanut butter cups, cutinto 8 pieces each

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In medium bowl combine flour, cocoa andbaking soda; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugarstogether with an electric mixer untilfluffy. Add vanilla, peanut butter and eggs; mixing well. Stirin flour mixture until just mixed. Fold in chips and peanut buttercups.
  • Drop by tablespoonful on to ungreasedbaking sheets.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, turning bakingsheet around halfway through to ensureeven browning.
  • Let cool for 2 minutes on baking sheetbefore transferring to wire rack to cool completely.

    Makes 3 dozen.

    Cook

    Bake at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately press a mini peanut butter cup into each ball. Cool and carefully remove from pan.

    Be careful when folding in the frozen cups and I try to keep those frozen pieces as large as possible – THAT is what makes these cookies so darn attractive and yummy. NutritionPopup ?
