Chocolate Moussecarpone Tarts.

Luscious chocolate mascarpone mousse isdecoratively piped into miniature chocolate cups and garnishedwith toasted pecan halves. These festive chocolate tartlets makea lovely addition to a holiday dessert selection.

Recipe: Chocolate MoussecarponeTarts

1 cup real milk chocolate chips
1 cup (8 ounces) mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
24 small chocolate shell cups
24 pecan halves, toasted

  • Melt the chocolate chips. Cool slightly.
  • Add the cheese and mix at medium speedfor two minutes.
  • Pipe the mixture into the chocolate cups.
  • Top each filled cup with a pecan half.
  • Chill until ready to serve.

    Makes 24 servings.

    Thanks so much for you beautiful recipe, it s delicious. One questions though the chocolate filling doesn t come out as luscious and creamy as the picture looks did i do something wrong? It set more like a cheese cake. thanks! Hi! Loooovd this recipe, will make at the next opportunity, just wondering about the vodka- any reason other than nice taste purposes? Could I substitute with gin or brandy etc..? Thanks!
