Chocolate Layer Cheesecake recipe

Easy chocolate cheesecake baked in a ready-to-usechocolate crumb crust.

Recipe: Chocolate Layer Cheesecake

2 (1-ounce) squares semisweet baking chocolate
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 (9-inch) ready-to-use chocolate flavor crumb crust

  • In a saucepan melt chocolate over medium-lowheat; cool slightly.
  • In a bowl mix cream cheese, sugar andvanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.Add eggs; mix until blended. Stir melted chocolate into one halfof the batter. Pour chocolate batter into crust. Top with remainingplain batter.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutesor until center is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

    Makes 8 servings.
