Chocolate Dipped Apples.

For the ideal flavor contrast of both appleand chocolate, choose tart-sweet apples such as Fuji, Gala orBraeburn for dipping.

Recipe: Chocolate DippedApples

Wax or parchment paper
6 wooden craft sticks or clean sticks
6 medium tart-sweet apples, such as Fuji, Gala or Braeburn (washed,dried and stems removed)
1 cup chopped NESTL CRUNCH, NESTL BUTTERFINGERor peanuts
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE®Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

  • Line baking sheet or tray with wax orparchment paper. Push sticks down into the core of each apple.Refrigerate apples while chocolate is being melted.
  • Place coatings on separate plates.
  • Melt morsels in medium, microwave-safebowl according to package directions. Dip (or roll) apples aboutthree-quarters of the way into chocolate, allowing excess chocolateto drip back into bowl. Roll coated apple in desired coatingand place on prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for about 15minutes or until set.
