Chocolate Creme de Menthe Bars recipe
These mint-flavored chocolate bars featurea cocoa and graham cracker crumb crust topped with a cremede menthe, butter and powdered sugar mixture that is refrigerateduntil firm and then topped with a thin layer of melted chocolatechips.
Recipe: Chocolate Cremede Menthe Bars
1 1/4 cups butter – divided use
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar – divided use
1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup green creme de menthe
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Makes 16 bars.
