Chocolate Cream Cheese Terrine recipe

This make-ahead dessert is quick and easyto do with gourmet results.

Recipe: Chocolate Cream CheeseTerrine

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
1 teaspoon vanilla extact
1 (2.8-ounce) package NESTLE EUROPEAN STYLE Mousse Mix
Caramel ice cream topping, for garnish

  • Line 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pan withfoil.
  • Combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup carameltopping and vanilla extract in small mixer bowl. Beat on mediumspeed for about 1 minute or until creamy. Spread into preparedloaf pan.
  • Prepare mousse mix according to steps1 and 2 of package directions. Spread over cream cheese layer.Freeze for about 1 hour or until mousse is firm.
  • Invert terrine onto serving platter; carefullyremove foil. Cut into slices; drizzle with additional carameltopping.

    Makes 8 to 10 servings.

    I love this recipe, but was just wodnering if anyone had any ideas on how i could develop this as a product? also what is the purpose of the cream? is there anything else i could use instead?
