Chocolate-Coffee Ice Cream Torte recipe

This no-bake ice cream cake is a winnerof a dessert with it’s coconut macaroon crust and bits of chocolate-coveredtoffee candy amid cool creamy chocolate and coffee (or vanilla)ice cream layers.

Recipe: Chocolate-CoffeeIce Cream Torte

6 soft coconut macaroon cookies, crumbled2 tablespoons butter, melted1 quart chocolate ice cream, softened1/2 cup chocolate syrup – divided use4 (1.4-ounce) English toffee-flavoredcandy bars, crushed – divided use1 quart coffee or vanilla ice cream,softened

  • Combine cookie crumbs and butter; pressfirmly over bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Spread chocolate ice cream over crust;drizzle with half of chocolate syrup and sprinkle with half of crushed candy. Freeze until firm.
  • Spread coffee or vanilla ice cream overcrushed candy; drizzle with remaining chocolate syrup and sprinkle with remaining crushed candy.Cover and freeze. Remove from freezer severalminutes before serving.

    Makes 12 servings.
