Chocolate Chip Toffee Diamonds.

These tasty treats are ideal for sharingwith friends.

Recipe: Chocolate Chip ToffeeDiamonds

3/4 cup butter, softened1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 large egg2 cups (12 ounce package) NESTL ®TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels – divided use1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine butter, flour, brown sugar, vanillaextract and egg in large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed, scrapingbowl often for 2 to 3 minutes or, until well mixed. Stir in 1cup morsels. Spread batter into ungreased 13 x 9-inch bakingpan.
  • Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until goldenbrown. Immediately sprinkle with remaining morsels. Allow tostand 2 to 3 minutes. Spread chocolate over bars; sprinkle withpecans. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into diamond-shapedbars.

    Makes 30 (2 1/2 dozen) bars.
