Chocolate Chip Crunch Cookies.

Crispy rice cereal adds a pleasant crunchto these yummy, not-too-sweet, chocolate chip cookies.

Recipe: Chocolate Chip CrunchCookies

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt1/2 cup butter, softened1 cup granulated sugar1 large egg1 teaspoon vanilla extract2 cups crisped rice cereal1 cup semisweet chocolate chips1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a small bowl combine the flour, bakingsoda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugartogether until light and fluffy. Beatin the egg and vanilla.
  • Stir in the flour mixture and mix to justcombine.
  • Stir in the crisp rice cereal, chocolatechips and nuts.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a non-stickbaking sheet.
  • Bake for 12 minutes, oruntil lightly browned, turning baking sheet around after 6 minutesto ensure even browning.
  • Transfer cookies to wire rack to cool.Store in tightly sealed container.

    Makes 3 1/2 dozen or 42 cookies.

    The ratios in all the recipes I have been trying are all adjusted to make a different cookie from one master chocolate chip cookie recipe. Hello, I know that your recipe says it serves 10, but I was wondering how many cookies it actually makes as you have more in your pictures?
