Chocolate Butterfinger Brownies.

Topped with chopped Butterfinger candybar pieces, this classic chocolate brownie adds a festive flairto a celebration.

Recipe: Chocolate ButterfingerBrownies

1 1/4 cups cake flour3/4 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped3/4 cup butter, cut into pieces2 cups granulated sugar4 large eggs1 tablespoon vanilla extract6 Fun Size NESTL BUTTERFINGERCandy Bars, chopped – divided use

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).Line 13 x 9-inch baking pan with foil.
  • Combine flour, baking powder and saltin large bowl; stir well.
  • Microwave chocolate and butter in large,microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 45 seconds; stir.Microwave an additional 30 seconds; stir until smooth and melted.Microwave at additional 15-second intervals as needed. Whiskin sugar. Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition.Whisk in vanilla extract. Gradually stir in flour mixture. Stirin half of chopped Butterfinger. Spoon into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until woodenpick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs attached.Cool on wire rack for 5 minutes; sprinkle top with remainingchopped Butterfinger. Cool completely before cutting into 2-inchsquares.

    Makes 24 brownies.

    Whew let s forget about that for a minute and eat some brownies! I have to tell you, Lori, these look absolutely fantastic. Butterfinger is probably my favorite candy bar so you know I ll be whipping up a batch of these brownies in my kitchen real soon. Thanks for another great recipe! Fluffy? yikes. Mine were definitely not fluffy! Did you perhaps overbeat the batter to incorporate more air into it? That s all I can think of. The peanut butter flavor doesn t really come through so much. It just complements the butterfingers.
