This velvety soft chocolate frosting isfinger-licking good, make sure you have enough left for yourcakes or cupcakes.
Recipe: Chocolate ButtercreamFrosting
2 ( 2-ounce) bars NESTL ® TOLLHOUSE® Unsweetened Chocolate Baking Bars, broken into pieces
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 1/2 cups (1 pound) powdered sugar
1/2 to 2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Makes 2 cups approximately.
For The Saucepan Method: Melt baking bars and butter in small, heavy saucepanover, lowest possible heat. When baking bars begin to melt, removefro heat; stir. Return to heat for a few seconds at a time, stirringuntil smooth. Transfer to small mixer bowl; cool to room temperature.Proceed as above
