Chicken Breast Saute with New Potatoes recipe

Sauteed chicken, onion and garlic withcanned new potatoes in a buttery wine sauce.

Recipe: Chicken Breast Sautewith New Potatoes

1/2 cup butter or margarine5 large chicken breast halves1 onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 chicken bouillon cube1 cup hot water
1/4 cup red wine
1 (14-ounce) can new potatoes, drained
Snipped parsley

  • In hot butter in large skillet, sautechicken breast on both sides until brown. Add onion and garlic.Cook about 5 minutes.
  • In small bowl combine flour, salt, pepper.Slowly stir in bouillon cube dissolved in the hot water; pourover browned chicken. Simmer, covered, about 25 minutes or untilchicken is tender.
  • Add potatoes and wine; heat. Garnish withparsley.

    Meanwhile, remove the fat from the chicken breasts and slice into thin tenderloins. Sprinkle the chicken with poultry seasoning or just a mixture of lemon pepper and salt. In the remaining section of the pan, add in the thinly sliced chicken tenderloins. Chelsea, I love all your one skillet meals.
