Cherry-Topped Cream Cheese Pie recipe

This easy-as-pie dessert is a good make-aheadtreat for parties and casual entertaining.

Recipe: Cherry-Topped CreamCheese Pie

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (8-ounce) container frozen dessert topping, thawed
1 (10-inch) graham cracker pie crust
1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling

  • In a large bowl, with an electric mixerat medium speed, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add sour cream and vanilla and beat untilwell blended.
  • Fold in whipped topping.
  • Transfer to pie crust and top with cherrypie filling.
  • Cover and chill for at least 3 hours beforeserving.
