If you love s’mores, you’ll love thesebrownies!
Recipe: Cherry S’More Brownies
1 (19.5-ounce) package fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
2 large eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
8 whole graham crackers
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup miniature marshmallows
- Drain maraschino cherries on paper towels;cut in half. Set aside.
- Prepare brownie mix according to packagedirections, using oil, water and eggs. Spread melted butter ina 13x9x2-inch pan. Cover bottom of pan with a layer of grahamcrackers. (If necessary, cut crackers with serrated knife tomake them fit pan.) Spread brownie batter over crackers.
- Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C)oven 5 minutes less than directed on the package. Sprinkle chocolatechips, pecans, cherries and marshmallows over the top. Returnto oven; bake an additional 5 to 8 minutes, or until toothpickinserted in center comes out almost clean. Let cool. Cut intosquares.Makes 24 brownies.
