Cherry Mocha Charlotte.

Crown that special meal with a Cherry MochaCharlotte. This classic dessert – reinvented for busy bakers- combines the rich flavors of chocolate, coffee and cherry withladyfingers and whipped cream. This exquisite confection is aperfect blend of textures and tastes.

Recipe: Cherry Mocha Charlotte

2 (3-ounce) packages lady fingers
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cool water
1 (5-ounce) package cook-and-serve chocolate pudding
21/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons strong coffee
1 cup heavy whipped cream
1 (21-ounce) can COMSTOCK® or WILDERNESS® More FruitCherry Fruit Filling – divided use

  • Line sides and bottom of an 8-inch springformpan with lady fingers.
  • Combine gelatin and water; set aside.
  • In medium saucepan combine chocolate puddingand milk. Stir constantly over medium heat until pudding comesto a full boil; remove from heat. Stir in gelatin and coffee;cool.
  • In large mixing bowl, whip cream. Foldin cooled pudding and 1 cup cherry fruit filling. Spoon intospringform pan and freeze 3 hours. Remove sides of pan and topwith remainder of cherry fruit filling.

    Makes 12 servings.

    Cook’s Tip: Garnish with chocolate curlsif desired.

    Place charlotte molds in a roasting pan. Add enough boiling water to come halfway up the sides of the molds. Transfer pan to oven and bake until custard is firm, about 45 minutes. Remove custards from pan and let cool; transfer to refrigerator until chilled. what did you think you were to do with them, really? I mean if you have ever been in a kitchen or read a recipe, you could probably figure it out, no?
