Cherry-Chocolate Chip Cake recipe

Easiest, yummiest cherry chocolate Bundtcake, drizzled with chocolate icing, that you’ll ever make!

Recipe: Cherry-ChocolateChip Cake

1 (18.25-ounce) package chocolate cakemix
1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
2 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup granulated sugar
5 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/3 cup milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine chocolate cake mix, cherry piefilling, eggs, oil, and almond extract; mix well.
  • Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inchcake pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the center is set.Cool for 10 minutes.
  • Combine sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan.Bring to a boil then stir in chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.Spread over the warm cake.

    Makes 12 servings.
