This fresh take on tacos can also be preparedwith ground beef.
Recipe: Cheesy Chicken Tacos
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
In 10-inch skillet melt butter until sizzling;add ground chicken. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally,until chicken is no longer pink (5 to 7 minutes). Stir in tacosauce. Continue cooking until mixture just comes to a boil (2to 3 minutes).
Add cheese. Cover; remove from heat. Letstand until cheese is melted (3 minutes). Stir in cheese.
Meanwhile, warm taco shells as directedon package. Spoon about 2 tablespoons chicken mixture into eachshell. Serve with lettuce, sour cream and tomato.
1 pound ground chicken
1/2 cup taco sauce
6 ounces cheddar cheese, cubed
10 taco shells
Makes 10 servings.
