Cheesy Cheddar Muffins recipe

Cheesiest cheddar muffins ever!

Recipe: Cheesy Cheddar Muffins

1 large egg
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon minced onion
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Wisconsin Medium Cheddar cheese

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, beat egg; stir in milkand oil all at once. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, salt andonion; stir until flour is just moistened. Add cheese; blendlightly.
  • Spoon mixture into 12-cup muffin pan,filling each cup about 3/4 full. Sprinkle each with 1 tablespooncheese and dust with paprika.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until done;remove from pan. Cool slightly before serving.

    Makes 12 muffins.
