Butterscotch Haystacks recipe

Butterscotch Haystacks.

Tasty enough for any occasion, these haystacksare mounded with a mixture of peanut butter, butterscotch chips,marshmallows and chow mein noodles. To enjoy in a snap, makethem the microwave way.

Recipe: Butterscotch Haystacks

1 (11-ounce) package or 1 2/3 cupsNESTL ® TOLL HOUSE® Butterscotch Flavored Morsels
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
2 (5-ounce) cans chow mein noodles
3 1/2 cups (7-ounces) miniature marshmallows

  • Line trays with waxed paper.
  • Microwave chips in large, microwave-safebowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwaveat additional 10 to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.Stir in peanut butter until well-blended. Add chow mein noodlesand marshmallows; toss until all ingredients are coated. Dropby rounded tablespoon onto prepared trays. Refrigerate untilready to serve.

    Makes 36 haystacks.

    Double Boiler Method: Melt morsels over hot (not boiling) water; stiruntil smooth. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter. Transferto large bowl. Add chow mein noodles and marshmallows; proceedas above.
