Chewy chocolatey brownies flecked withpeanut butter chips and decoratively drizzled with a yummy peanutbutter chip glaze.
Recipe: Brownies with PeanutButter Chips
1 1/4 cups butter, melted1 3/4 cups granulated sugar 4 large eggs2 teaspoons vanilla extract1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour 2/3 cup unsweetened baking cocoa 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 (10-ounce) package peanut butter chips – divided use Glaze:1/2 cup (reserved) peanut butter chips2 tablespoons butter2 tablespoons milk1/4 cup powdered sugar
Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Stir together butter and sugar in largebowl. Add eggs and vanilla; beat with spoon or whisk until wellblended.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder andsalt; add to butter mixture, stirring until well blended.
Reserve 1/2 cup peanut butter chips forglaze. Stir remaining 1 cup chips into batter. Spread batterinto prepared pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until woodenpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in panon wire rack.
Prepare Glaze: Combine remaining 1/2 cuppeanut butter chips with butter and milk in small microwave-safebowl. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 45 seconds;stir until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Gradually add 1/4 cup powdered sugar, beating withwhisk until smooth.
Drizzle Glaze over brownies. Let standuntil glaze is set. Cut into squares.
