Boo-ti-ful Ghosts recipe

Boo-ti-ful Ghosts.

Wrap these in pretty cellophane paper andribbons and hand them out to trick-or-treaters.

Recipe: Boo-ti-ful Ghosts

Wax paper
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTL ® TOLL HOUSE®Premier White Morsels
3 tablespoons vegetable shortening
12 lollipop sticks (found in craft stores)
Assorted candies for decorating (such as Spooky WONKA NERDS and/orWONKA TART N TINYS)

  • Line baking sheets with wax paper.
  • Place morsels and shortening in large,microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) power for1 minute 30 seconds; STIR. Morsels may retain some of their originalshape. If necessary, microwave at additional 10 to 15-secondintervals, stirring just until melted; cool slightly.
  • Place lollipop sticks on prepared bakingsheets, spacing about 6 inches apart.
  • Spoon melted morsel mixture halfway overlollipop sticks into ghostly shapes. Decorate with candies. Refrigeratefor 15 minutes or until set.

    Makes 12 ghosts.

    Use an offset spatula, or the back of a spoon, to spread the icing mixture. Allow the icing to harden and use assorted sprinkles or sugars to decorate into a boo-tiful ghost. Boo!
