Blueberry Dump Cake recipe

Dump cakes are some of the easiest ANDtastiest ‘cake-mix’ cakes ever and this blueberry version isan extraordinarily yummy example.

Recipe: Blueberry Dump Cake

4 cups frozen blueberries, thawed slightly
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup melted butter or margarineWhipped cream or vanilla ice creamfor accompaniment

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  • Spread blueberries evenly onto the bottomof a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking pan. Sprinklesugar, dry cake mix and nuts over berries. Drizzle melted butterover entire mixture evenly.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
  • Serve with a dollop of lightly sweetenedwhipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

    Makes 12 servings.
