Berry Blue Smoothie recipe

With the superb health benefits of theblueberry, this is a berry, berry good drink for you!

Recipe: Berry Blue Smoothie

2 cups fresh or slightly thawedfrozen blueberries
1 (8-ounce) container low fat vanilla yogurt
1 (6-ounce) cup milk
1 (12-ounce) can pineapple juice
3 tablespoons honey
12 to 16 ice cubes

  • Place all ingredients, except the icecubes, into container of electric blender and blend on high untilsmooth.
  • With blender running, add 2 to 3 ice cubesat a time through the center opening in the lid until all icecubes have been added. Blend until smooth. Serveimmediately.

    Makes 4 servings.

    Nutritional Analysis Per Serving: 200 calories,5 grams protein, 3 grams fat, 40 grams carbohydrate.
