Start your day off with this creamy, wheatgerm-fortified banana smoothie.

Recipe: Banana Smoothie

1 cup plain yogurt
1 ripe banana, sliced
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1/8 teaspoon nutmegAdditional banana slices (optional)Whipped cream (optional)Chopped peanuts (optional)

  • Combine all ingredients in blender container.Cover and blend until smooth and frothy.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and choppedpeanuts or a banana slice.

    Makes 1 serving.
